Finding My Harp In Babylon

In Psalm 137 it is recorded that as the children of Israel were in Babylonian captivity they no longer had a song, and they were putting their harps in the poplar trees. The Babylonians mocked them and said "Where is your song now O Israel"? Throughout my captivity experiences God has often during times I didnt think I could bear given a song of His grace;and I have been able to take down my harp from the snare of the looming trees cast in haunting shadow that have cropped up along the path. In order to find a song of hope amidst a backdrop of tragedy God knows that the journey is often times the only way.
